Getting to know Tyler I. Wood, Esq.
Tyler is a Western New York native and lives in Attica. Throughout high school, college, and law school, Tyler worked at his family’s machine shop and learned how to weld and construct pneumatic machines.
After graduating from Pembroke Jr./Sr. High School, Tyler obtained a B.S. In Political Science from SUNY Brockport. Tyler then spent three years at The University at Buffalo School of Law. Throughout law school, Tyler worked as a law clerk specializing in Workers’ Compensation and then transitioned to practicing Workers’ Compensation law as an attorney after passing the bar exam.
Tyler joined the Connors and Ferris team because he has an appreciation for the type of industrial work that most often leads to injuries and wants to help all injured workers better navigate the murky waters of the Workers’ Compensation Board.
Tyler is admitted to practice law in New York State and is a member of the New York State Bar Association.

- What did you want to be when you grew up?: I wanted to be an attorney ever since 6th grade when I picked that as my career choice for a presentation.
- What are your hobbies?: I am an avid coin collector and specialize in ancient coins.
- What is your favorite vacation you have been on?: My wife and I went on our honeymoon to Lake Placid- beautiful mountains and rustic cabins.
- There are now 25 hours in a day! What are you doing with your extra hour?: Take longer walks with my wife around Attica.
