Getting to know Sean Meritt
Having a diverse background in customer service, Sean understands the importance of the attorney-client relationship. Sean spent four years at the University of Arizona, in Tucson, Arizona, as well as three years in Columbia, South Carolina, at the University Of South Carolina School of Law. Before joining the Connors and Ferris team, Sean spent his entire working career in customer service positions. These experiences have exposed Sean to a wide array of people from diverse backgrounds. Sean grew up in a blue collar family, as both of his parents worked their way through the ranks of the Rochester printing press industry. Sean believes one of the most important aspects of Workers’ Comp is that the injured worker has a satisfying, trust-worthy, and customer-oriented experience.
Sean believes a well-informed injured worker is best equipped to navigate the often confusing and convoluted path through the Workers’ Comp process. Sean joined the Connors & Ferris firm to further the great reputation for providing the highest level of customer service and is here to answer your questions.
Sean was born and raised in Rochester, New York. Sean graduated from the University of Arizona Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Sean is a graduate of the University Of South Carolina School of Law. While in law school, Sean received the Knox L. Haynsworth, Jr. Scholarship Award for demonstrating excellence in Labor Law. Sean is a member of the New York State Bar Association, and The New York State Injured Worker’s Bar Association.
