Getting to know Rufus Williams
Rufus believes that every injured worker should receive the maximum compensation and medical treatment that they are entitled to. Rufus recognizes the barriers that injured workers encounter when they appear before the Workers’ Compensation Board on their own and the reality that often times, in these instances, the overwhelming nature of the system serves to deny their rights to these benefits. Rufus takes the approach that every client deserves the benefit of a knowledgable attorney, willing to guide them through the maze of the workers’ compensation process with a precise knowledge of the law and an ability to explain the law so that his client understands what occurs at each stage of their claim.
Rufus also believes that customer service is of the utmost importance. Providing clients with the information that they need at the most critical of times is his goal. This is why Rufus joined the firm of Connors & Ferris, a firm with a stout reputation for providing the highest level of client services.
Prior to working at Connors & Ferris, Rufus’ practice involved assisting banks and indigent homeowners in every aspect of property ownership.
Rufus is a graduate of SUNY Buffalo Law School. Rufus is a member of both the New York State Bar Association and the New York Injured Workers’ Bar Association.
