Getting to know Rachel M. Theodorou
Rachel joined Connors & Ferris with a mission to provide rigorous, detail-oriented advocacy for injured workers. Rooted in years of customer service experience, her practice prioritizes the “human side” of the law, ensuring every client feels heard and supported throughout the complexities of the Workers’ Compensation system.
Rachel graduated summa cum laude from Rochester Institute of Technology before earning her J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law. While in law school, Rachel served as the Form & Accuracy Editor for the Journal of Science and Technology, publishing a note on autonomous vehicles and the insurance industry. She also gained vital experience as a student attorney in the Disability Rights Clinic advocating for individuals with disabilities.
Her background in advocacy includes interning at the Monroe County District’s Attorney’s Office and preparing Social Security and Disability Insurance appellate briefs at the Burton Blatt Institute. Before transitioning to private practice, Rachel spent several years negotiating competitive government contracts within the aerospace and defense industry. Rachel’s unique experience provides her with a strategic 360-degree view of the legal landscape which she now utilizes to protect the rights of claimants.
Rachel is an active member of the New York State Bar Association and the New York State Injured Workers’ Bar Association.
