Getting to know Kevin Rood

Having a diverse background in sales and customer service, Kevin knows the key to a successful Workers’ Compensation case begins and ends with building and maintaining a great attorney-client relationship.

Originally from New Hampshire, Kevin moved to Western New York in 2003 and has made Buffalo his home ever since. Throughout high school, college, and law school, Kevin worked and held management positions in several local restaurants in addition to other customer service positions.

After graduating from Eden Jr./Sr. High School, Kevin spent four years at Canisius College and graduated with a B.A. in History. Before attending law school, Kevin worked in the electrical construction and industrial sales field, contributing his sales expertise to projects including the Solar City/Tesla Gigafactory and the Seneca One Tower projects.

Kevin then spent three years at The University at Buffalo School of Law where he participated in several internships, including with the Erie County Department of Labor Relations where he realized his goal of helping workers in difficult situations. While at UB School of Law, he was an active member of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity and held the Clerk position on the executive board in his 2L year and was elected Vice Justice in his 3L year.

Kevin has joined the Connors and Ferris team because he has worked the jobs and with the people who are injured most in Western New York and understands the process involved with the Workers’ Compensation Board can be burdensome and complicated to navigate alone.

Kevin is admitted to practice in New York State and is a member of the New York State Bar Association as well as the Injured Workers’ Bar Association.
