Kim Irving brings over 20 years’ experience to the Connors & Ferris team. Over the years, she has practice in many different areas of law, but for the last several years, she has devoted her practice to helping clients navigate the complex Social Security Disability process. She has helped hundreds of individuals obtain Social Security Disability (SSD) and/or Social Security Income (SSI), guiding them through the application and the appeals stages. She is well-versed in the interplay between SSD, SSI, and other benefits such as Workers’ Compensation, outside disability policies and unemployment benefits. This is important so the client can make informed decisions while going through the process of obtaining benefits. As an advocate for the disabled, she fully understands the compassion necessary in helping clients through this complicated system and at same time, is a fierce advocate for her client’s rights.
Kim graduated from Binghamton University with Honors, and is a graduate of Albany Law School. She is a member of the Erie County Bar Association and the National Organization of Social Security Claimant’s Representatives. Kim is admitted to practice in the State of New York, United States District Court, Western District of New York, and United States District Court, Western District of Pennsylvania. She has represented clients before the Social Security Office of Disability Adjudication and Review throughout the Northeast, the Appeals’ Counsel, and the United States District Court. Outside the practice of law, Kim is involved in supporting Camp Good Days and Special Times and the Alzheimer’s Association.
